Setting up gmail on Nokia 7210

Do the following steps to activate gmail on your Nokia 7210 supernova:-

• In the gmail web site

• Log in to your gmail account.

• Go to settings. (Click the gear icon in the upper right, then select settings).

• Click on the " Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab

• Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on.

• Enable IMAP

• Save changes

• On the mobile phone

1. Go to Menu - Settings -Configuration - Preferred access pt.
2. Select your service provider. ( For Vodafone select "vodafone mobile connect").
3. Go to Menu - Messaging - Email.
4. Enter your email id
5. A question will pop up "Connect to the internet to search for settings?".
6. Select "yes"  
7. The phone will search and download the settings.
8. Select OK
9. A question "Connect to mailbox?" will pop up.
10. Select "Yes".
11. Your email password will be asked. Enter it.
12. Now your phone is ready to accept email.
